                                                                             University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Hello my esteemed viewers,

It is my pleasure to present the 2nd edition of the University of Nigeria Research Groups (RGs). This edition contains the summaries of eighty-six (86) RGs that are drawn from all the academic units of the university. These are the apparent active RGs in UNN. You'll agree that there is no need to include non-active RGs in the directory.

The criteria for defining active RG: 1. existing RGs that submitted their     progress reports and 2. New applications for registration as RGs.

The list of the active RGs that will be included in the 2nd edition of the UNN directory is included in the body of the mail and also attached as a MS word file. They will also receive the financial support from the University administration to help in running some of their activities.

Please, let us know whether you either submitted a progress report or sent a concept note for a new RG and your RG is omitted from the list.

TEDx UNN
 JUNE 26, 2017.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). In the year 1984, TED began as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design met, and currently now covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world. TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. This event is free for everybody. All interested persons that desires to attend the first ever TEDXUNN should apply below.

This concert is called TEDXUNN,
where x means independently organized TED event. This is the first ever TEDx event in UNN. Sound speakers and live videos and pictures will be used in the deep discussion.  The TED Conference provides general help for the TED program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.

Date: Sat. July 1st 2017

Venue: Niger Hall, University Guest House, UNN

Time: 08:00 am prompt
