A day with "Frank D "

Hey guys, meet "Frank D" a young talented Nigerian artist with a successful music career since 2001. He started singing at the age of 5 in his primary school days, his singing talent was noticed at an early stage of his life as he always sang to his classmates beautiful songs. This made his friends and relatives all him "emmy square" which they formed from a popular Nigerian artist called "p square". 

His popularity grew in a very fast rate and attracted interviews from numerous companies in Nigeria like the lion's FM, including an interview with the CEO of emeks empire. He is currently an 100 level student of foreign language and literary studies department in the University of Nigeria (Unn). The 21year old artist has produced more than 20 songs with 2 awesome awards, and he wishes to take his music career to an international level.

(CEO)Interviewer :  what is your real name? 

Frank D : Franklin Dilibe Chukwuemeka. 

Interviewer :  who is your mentor? 

Frank D :  Usher and Fali-pupa

Interviewer :  why do you choose them as your mentor? 

Frank D :  I chose them because I want to be great like them. 

Interviewer :  when were you born? 

Frank D :  I was born on the 2nd of April, 1996

Interviewer :  why do you choose to become an artist? 

Frank D :  I chose to become an artist because I believe it's in me. 

Interviewer :  what is your state of origin? 

Frank D :  am from Enugu State. 

Interviewer :  when did you start singing? 

Frank D :  I started singing at the age of 5

Interviewer :  which of your songs do you like most? 

Frank D :  my favorite song is "I will love you always "

Interviewer :  which record label are you signed to? 

Frank D :  am not yet signed to any record label. 

Interviewer :  how do you cope with your studies as an artist? 

Frank D :  I have a separate time for my studies and music. 

Interviewer :  why do you choose Frank D as your stage name? 

 Frank D :  the name Frank D was given to me by my uncle when I visited him and                         sang a song of mine to him, he asked me what's my stage name and I told him it's "emmy square", he then advised me to choose another stage name from my name as "p square" has been taken which resembles "emmy square". That was how I got Frank from my name Franklin and D also from my surname Dilibe, which was put together to form Frank D.

Interviewer :  who motivated you into singing? 

Frank D :  my friends motivated me. 

Interviewer :  what are the challenges you faced as an artist? 

Frank D :  lack of money is a major challenge I faced as an artist, sometimes I deny myself food. My pocket money has been a great source of capital for me. 

Interviewer :  how many shows and concerts have you performed in? 

Frank D : I have performed in numerous shows, it's uncountable. 

Interviewer :  who is your best Nigerian artist? 

Frank D :  it's Wizkid. But I also like Davido, p square and 2Baba.

Interviewer :  how many awards have you won? 

Frank D :  I have 2 awards already. FASSA next rated artist award and Unn's Ist year best artist.
